Okay, here’s the compromise solution to my life: I cannot live on what I’m earning as a hostess right now, so I’m back on job search for a part-time position as a server. A part-time job will allow me to earn what I need, plus I’ll get a chance to find out what another restaurant is like since my experience at different restaurant jobs is limited. Maybe exposure to another work environment, as a server, will help me figure out where I really want to be.

So let me know if anyone sees any HELP WANTED signs in any restaurants in Chicago or Evanston. And let me know if you know of anyone who works in a restaurant in Chicago or Evanston. I’d love to talk to people at different places to find out what it’s like to work at their restaurant, what they earn, if the management is good, etc.

Here I go again (I’m so tired of this).
